Judge Charles Price sentenced Juan Daniels to 9 1/2 years in prison, just six months shy of the maximum he could have gotten. Daniels pleaded guilty to tying the dog to a post, beating him with a shovel, soaking him in lighter fluid and then setting him on fire back in 2007. The sentence Daniels received is the longest ever given for animal cruelty in the state of Alabama. Louis Vuitton has been adopted by his foster family and is enjoying a happy ending.
